Buying Guide

Where tent coolers actually get used

Tent house pandals in peak summer need at least two to three heavy duty coolers running through the full function: one jumbo cooler for a 500-guest wedding is not enough, and your client will know it. Industrial air coolers are the right format for large outdoor setups where a standard cooler loses its effect within the first hour of a packed function. Banquet halls with open sides or outdoor extensions use them where the AC does not reach. Farmhouses and open cafes running events from April to July keep jumbo air coolers as permanent outdoor equipment. Decorators offering full event management add tent air coolers to their summer package: it justifies a higher quote and removes the one thing that kills a guest experience fastest. Coolers for marriage halls are a year-round need in many parts of India, not just peak summer.

Who buys tent coolers

Tent house owners are the biggest buyers, since summer is peak wedding season and cooling is not optional. They buy tent air coolers, jumbo coolers, and heavy duty coolers depending on the size of their pandals and booking volume. Banquet hall owners buy industrial air coolers for open and semi-outdoor spaces, and decorators who manage full setups add coolers to their hire inventory. Open cafes and farmhouses buy jumbo air coolers as permanent outdoor equipment. Resellers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities stock up before March, since demand moves fast and late orders mean missed bookings. This is not a small-town-only product: wedding coolers sell across every city tier.

What to check before buying tent coolers

Motor, copper or aluminium. A copper motor runs longer, stays cooler under heavy use, and lasts more seasons. An aluminium motor is more affordable and works fine for shorter events. If your cooler runs 8 to 10 hours a day through summer, copper is worth the extra cost; for occasional use, aluminium does the job.

Tank capacity. Our range runs from 150 to 200 litres. A bigger tank means fewer refills during a long function, and stopping to refill a jumbo cooler mid-event is a problem you do not want. For full-day events, always go for maximum tank size.

Cooler swing motor. The swing motor is what makes the cooler oscillate automatically, spreading cool air across the full pandal without anyone managing it. A swing motor that fails during a function means the cooler blows in one direction only, and guests on the other side feel nothing. Check swing motor quality before ordering; it is a basic requirement, not an optional extra.

Blade count. Three blades, four blades, or five: more blades mean more air movement across a larger space. A five-blade industrial air cooler in a big pandal is a different experience from a three-blade unit, so match the blade count to the space, not the price you want to pay.

Honeycomb pad and jali. The honeycomb pad is where the actual cooling happens, so check that it is dense and properly fitted. The jali in front comes in steel or plastic depending on the model; for outdoor and rough-use settings, steel jali holds up better over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

For outdoor events running four hours or more, go for the 200 litre tank. For shorter indoor or semi-outdoor use, 150 litres works fine. For jumbo cooler use in large pandals, always go maximum tank: you can run it half full, but you cannot add capacity after you buy.
